Master of the Arts

For The Artists of the Future

Children learn so much about themselves and others through art activities!

Art is important in society because it is an essential ingredient to empowering the hearts of people.

Artists can strengthen the will and push people to act creating a significant cultural and political contribution.

We explore success-oriented , open-ended experiences because there’s no one right way to do something.

Our art activities are motivating for children of all developmental abilities and build feelings of independence, confidence and an eagerness to learn.

Drama Club

Self expression learned through drama is one of a kind!

Although acting and dancing form the basics of a drama class, self confidence is the biggest gift children walk away with. Drama teaches us to think on our feet and children with time unknowingly prepare themselves for the ever so tough future job interviews and quick decisions in life.

Communication skills are learned through practice and play while the children are often exposed to situations through which drama teaches them empathy.

We focus on the acting, physical, vocal, and other techniques which improve the student’s theatrical skills.

Drama club is a safe place to push one’s boundaries, develop range, and discover oneself as an actor. That requires a great deal of risk, experimentation and most importantly an open mind!

Art Club

Kids benefit through art in so many ways!

Art encourages children to be creative, see different points of view, express their emotions and promotes curiosity. While developing fine motor skills and building pre-writing skills, art boost self confidence and encourages neural connections.

Different projects will develop the student’s use of perspective, contour, grid system, shading and use of color. Projects are decided on based on the abilities and interests of the class. Base painting and detail painting skills are also taught. Detail painting includes float shading, highlighting, sponging, dry brushing, antiquing, lining and splattering.

Art club brings the student’s imagination to life!

Digital Video Club

Discover the art of visual storytelling on this digital video adventure.

Children will be immersed into the world of interviews, silent movies, reporting, storytelling, documentaries, game shows, commercials and music videos. They will film, direct and edit using tablets and powerful software. Students will study why silent films were popular and learn some of the most widely-recognized film genres.

They will then pair up to conduct interviews and practice reporting, before learning to plan the composition of their video and experiment with framing while making a short documentary about an everyday object.

Furthermore, the students will discover which angle to use, how to set up lighting and how to ensure that their captured video is of the highest quality. Using powerful software, they will learn how to cut together their filmed video, blend in music and add effects in order to come to a final video they can proudly share with friends and family.

With developments in technology happening quicker than ever and the rise of powerful handheld devices and tablets with high quality cameras, it has never been easier for children to get involved in photography & film.

Unless otherwise stated, our programs are not generally offered to the general public but rather in conjunction with, and exclusively for students of, our private school partners.

CAMPS

This program can be used alone, or in combination with any other Masterplan AcadeME activity.

Our camps can be offered as part of the already existing holiday program organised by the school itself, or we can take care of the entire process, from planning to booking to ensuring each day of camp is the best one the student has ever had.

CLUBS

In partnership with private international schools, all of our programs are available as supplementary or after-school enrichment clubs, or as a primary topic for one-off project weeks.

We ensure that collaboration, leadership and mindfulness exercises are integrated into the curriculum where possible and appropriate.

We also offer a proprietary booking system to partner schools.
